Tumble Dryer Old Sound Effect

For the engineer, this may be a sound effect too far! Maybe for the engineer the mechanical sound of a tumble dryer on it’s last legs makes them want to reach for their tool bag? However, the constant rumbling sound of a tumble dryer, may for some people be the perfect background sound to help them to Relax.

Worn Out Bearing Sound Effect

The reason for the rumbling sound is that this particular tumble dryer has a main bearing that is on its way out. This particular tumble dryer is not going to last much longer, so I thought it would be good to record it’s last rumblings on my trust Zoom H1n. So this now make me look forward to the day that it stops altogether, then I will be able to record the sound of a brand new tumble dryer.
