When you upload your latest video on YouTube, why not use the “Comments” section to promote yourself some more.

Increase Your YouTube Statistics with a Pinned Comment

This little trick can help your interaction with your audience! So why not write your own comment. If you write your own comment, you want to make sure that you “Like” and “Heart” your own comment. The the next thing you want to do is make sure that you Pin the comment. This means that your Pinned comment will be the very top comment in the comments under your video.

To Pin a YouTube Video Comment

This is easy to do. Once you have written your comment, posted and then pressed the Like and Hear Button. You will then need to go to the right hand side of that comment where you will see 3 dots, one above the other. If you click on that you will then have the option to Pin/Unpin your comment. So what you want to do is press Pin.

What to Put in a Pinned Comment

Well, this is really up to you!! However, remember that the YouTube Algorithm rewards you for keeping people on YouTube. So, you can recommend another of your videos and include a link. And/or, you can ask a question and encourage your viewers to interact more with you and your channel (if they have Auto Play turned on, then even more watch time for you. If they watch another video, you have also increased your watch time again!
