Stormy Weather Sound Effect and Video

Join me and sit in the relative warmth of a new built barn, as storm Ciara batters the UK. When I was younger, storms never really had a name, other than the weather forecast would say that it will be stormy for the next couple of days. Now though, they seem to enjoy giving every blustery event a name. So in this particular case we go storm Ciara, which was closely followed by storm Dennis. Anyway, going slightly of subject here, lets get back on track.

Wind, Rain and Creaking Metal Sound Effects

Snuggle up nice and warm and cosy, then watch and listen to the video as the storm swirls around the barn. Whilst you are doing that, why not think about how wet the Dog (Bear) and I got in the process of recording this. Obviously I did not want my trusty Zoom H1n recorder or Sony Rx100 Camera to get wet, so filming and recording was done from inside the barn. Actually, it really was quite stormy outside, and the equipment was placed at a considerable distance from the barn door. Even then, there was quite a swirly mist in the air near the recording equipment.

Relax to the Sound of Wind and Rain

So if you are the sort of person that enjoys the sound of heavy wind and rain, then this could be the video that you will enjoy. Some people love this sort of sound knowing that they are safe and sound as a storm rages outside. There is also the additional feeling of safety, as deep down you know that listening to this storm is not causing you or your property any damage.

If you are using videos and sounds to relax to, then you may want to consider how you hear the sounds. If you are single or you and your partner enjoy the same sort of sounds, then you can just fill the room you are in, at whatever volume you want, then relax and hear the ambient background sounds. If however you do not want to disturb someone else, then good old headphones will do the trick.
