Water Flowing Down Culvert Sound Effect and Video

As I was out walking the other day, I could hear a rather pleasing sound of flowing water in the distance. So as usual my inquisitiveness forced me to get closer to the water sound. I discovered that there was a pond that was being supplied by a natural spring. The excess water from the spring then ran down a gulley on the edge of the road. This then eventually flowed into a culvert and the spring water was then taken underground.

So for those of you that have read some of my other posts, will know that I will not let an opportunity like this pass by. So as usual I got out my trusty Zoom H1n recorder and got close and personal to the water flowing down the culvert and recorded the sound. I also recently got myself a Sony RX100 camera, to do some of the videoing. My main reason for choosing the Sony RX100 was firstly, the camera has a very high quality lens. Secondly, the camera is so small, that there is no effort in carrying it everywhere I go. There are also a lot of other reasons to buy this camera, but for me it was the fact that it produces quality photos, video and it is small. OK, not the cheapest of cameras, but boy I really do love it!

So with both the Sony RX100 and my Zoom H1n I was able to record the video that is shown below. I do hope that you enjoy looking at the water flowing and the wonderful green moss, that has been slowed to grow on the side and also the on the cobbled stones nearby.

Relaxing Water Sound Effects

In the video I have positioned the Sony RX100 so that you can see the water flowing down the gulley just as it disappears down the culvert. Also the sound is recorded at the same point. Hopefully, this combination will be just the thing to help you to relax.
