Bell Ringing Sound Effect

The other day when in Cerne Abbas, near St Mary’s church, I was luck enough to capture the sound of bell ringers practising …… I am sure that should have a better name? I do know that the art of bell ringing is campanology, that is about as far as my knowledge goes. Is this a mechanical sound or an annoying sound?

Bell Ringing Practice

I recorded the actual bell ringing practise, which lasted for about an hour. I am sure that if you are swinging off those heavy church bells, then an hour is sufficient. I have from that created two Bell Ringing Sound Videos. Both Bell Ringing Videos start off with a couple of scenes of St Mary’s Church in Cerne Abbas. After a short period the screen will go black, but the bell ringing practice will continue.
