Free Sound Clips for Videos
Royalty Free and Copyright Free Sounds Bites
I have now been making YouTube videos for a number of years now, over that time I have collected many sounds. You will often see me out and about with not just a camera, but also with a sound recorder. Sometimes, I can be seen in the early hours of the morning, pushing shopping trolleys around an empty car park. I am sure that many onlookers and perhaps CCTV camera operators are wondering what on earth I am up to. My sound recorder is only small, so not being able to see that, they must think that there is a bit of a nutter doing strange things. I have now started small library on my Google Drive that is free for you to use in your videos, or wherever else you need to add sound clips. If you just want to jump in and see what is available, then check out Royalty Free Sound Bites.

Free Sound Bites for Videos
When making videos, one problem is keeping the the viewer interested and entertained. It has now been well proven that by adding additional sound clips to a video, will enhance the viewers experience. It has also been shown that using a different sound when an action takes place, will enhance the viewers experience. For example, you may have a scene where the lens is being attached to a camera, you could then use the sound of a gun being cocked at that point. Sometimes, just by adding the wrong sound, or a different sound can hold a viewers attention for longer. You may enjoy this post on how to use sound to boost video retention.
