Royal Navy Main Broadcast Pipes and Instructions
For some of you old salts, I have put together a selection of Pipes that would have echoed around a Warship or Naval Dockyard. All Pipes and Broadcasts will be prefixed with RN, in order to make it easier for you to find. These broadcasts can easily be downloaded and turn into your favourite ringtone.

What is NBCD State 1 Condition Zulu?
Hands to Action Stations, Assume NBCD State 1 Condition Zulu. This is one of the highest states (State 1) of readiness, when the whole ship’s company are closed up at their designated action stations. The term NBCD, stands for Nuclear, Biological, Chemical and Damage. Zulu means that all doors and hatches are fully clipped shut, giving the ship maximum watertight integrity.
