Morning Walk with Bear

Join me on an early winter mornings walk with my dog Bear. On this particular walk we are walking from just outside Up Cerne, through Up Cerne and then onto Cerne Abbas. On the way you will hear Bear’s collar jingling as he walks with me. The occasional crunching of the gravel beneath our feet added a satisfying texture to the otherwise quiet ambiance.

With each step we took, the jingling of my dog’s chain echoed through the countryside, providing a rhythm to the peaceful sounds surrounding us. The soft thud of my dog’s paws hitting the dirt road and the crunching of leaves underfoot added to the serene atmosphere. In the distance, the melodic chirping of birds and the rustling of branches in the wind completed the aural tapestry of this tranquil walk with my furry friend. As we walked past the babbling river, the gentle trickle of water over stones created a soothing soundtrack to our journey.

Up Cerne to Cerne Abbas Walk

On the way you will also hear pheasant in the fields, as well as other birds that form the dawn chorus. On the journey you will hear our footsteps and also the sound of the running streams. Eventually we follow the river Cerne as it becomes a waterfall next to the old mill cottage.
